SANDYSAUR, THE OASIS POKEMON

Sandysaurs are desert survivalists, storing the sun’s intense energy in the bulb on their backs to feed off of while they seek out water. When it’s too hot, Sandysaur burrows into the cool desert sand, leaving only its bulb on the surface to gather energy. It is said that when many Sandysaurs gather, they dig out water and form an Oasis, releasing seeds from their bulb and the energy they’ve gathered to speed its growth.
